I've tried doing the same thing and it gets me every time. Here's as far as I can get:

Time is an illusion. It only works on earth. What exactly would an hour measure on Saturn? A year? A century? On another planet in another solar system? Our method of measuring time becomes meaningless when Earth is stricken from the picture. With that in mind, remove any boundaries, beginings and ends. You just have an infinite stage populated with matter and energy that was always there and always will be. Perhaps all 'things' stem from a destruction and rebirthing cycle. This is where I confuse myself. Maybe, is it possible that black holes could reach a critical mass and explode?

Just my little theory.
